This is my corner of the internet. I’m Jakob, a software engineer with an interest in AI, emerging technologies, and good writing.

I’ve been using generative AI for three years. Six months before ChatGPT launched, I stumbled upon the OpenAI Playground, and I’ve been hooked ever since. When I saw what these models could do, something clicked. Here I write myself, so I don’t forget how. Against the AI slop. Every article comes from me personally, not from an AI.

My interest in new technologies is honestly selfish. I want to know what to bet on to stay ahead. For contentment and wellbeing. Since I’m an extrovert, I share this journey publicly.

The idea to write at all goes back to my friends Mehdi and Julian . They got me to share my thoughts publicly.

I’m still finding my voice. My writing style varies because I’m testing different approaches. It will settle over time.
